The Walnuts is situated in the beautiful Gordano Valley which is an ideal location for exploring and touring the West Country. The Walnuts are located at Newlyn on the outskirts of the quiet village of Portbury and are 2 miles from Portishead,Nailsea and Clevedon, with Ashton Court Mansion and Leigh Court Mansion and the centre of Bristol only 5 miles away, with Clifton Village just 5 minutes drive across Brunell's famous Clifton Suspension Bridge.
The kitchen is fitted with all you will need for an enjoyable stay, fully fitted with electric cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave oven, crockery, pots and pans and a complete range of kitchen equipment. There is also a drying line available.
The lounge/diner, with lovely views up through the valley, catches the south sun making it light and airy. Furnished with the comfort of our guests in mind it has two comfortable sofas, television with Freesat, DVD player and a CD Player, an electric wood-burning stove effect heater and dining table and chairs to seat four.
The main double bedroom has built-in wardrobe, drawers and bedside tables with reading lamps. Bedroom 2 has twin beds, built-in wardrobe, drawers and bedside table with reading lamp.
The bathroom has an electric shower, toilet and basin.
The bungalows are sited on our property, Newlyn, which consists of one and half acres of lawns available for the use of guests. They have both been tastefully converted from old farm buildings and offer two-bedroom single storey accommodation following full refurbishment, and both are suitable for disabled guests and allow full wheelchair access throughout the property.
Heating is by electric night storage heaters.
The homes have a communal open air seating area. There are separate parking spaces for each home.
